The Strongest Connecting Rods In The Industry
About Us
BoostLine connecting rods are the first purpose-built rods for power-adder applications. The patented 3-pocket design was specifically engineered for demanding turbocharged, supercharged, and big nitrous applications and provides 60 percent more bending strength compared to common H-beam rods! BoostLine connecting rods are machined from premium 4340 forged steel and feature high-quality ARP 2000 bolts standard, with even stronger ARP 625+ Custom Age bolts available as upgrade.
Each BoostLine rod is designed, and finish machined in Mentor, Ohio, and inspected on inhouse aerospace-grade CMM equipment. They are manufactured to industry-leading precision, and each rod set includes individual inspection reports detailing critical dimensions down to .0001inch.BoostLine connecting rods are rated up to 1,000 horsepower for 4 Cylinder applications, 1,500 Horsepower for 6 Cylinder applications, and a stratospheric 2,000 horsepower for 8 Cylinder applications. All the horsepower in the world is useless if your engine won’t make it to the finish line. BoostLine connecting rods provide the strength your engine needs to power you to the finish line.

We never had a rod failure we ran circle track about 10 years aluminum rods the end of the year they were shelved and replaced with new.
I’m sure Boostline knows a lot about rods, but a large part of the failure isn’t really from compressive forces, but stretching. Extreme engine braking, over revving, and running into the rev limiter. That’s extremely hard on a rod. Stretching: think about what a rod sees at 7,000+ rpm’s as it approaches TDC and changes direction in a millisecond. That piston wants to keep moving in x while the rod is trying to be to pulling it in y. The piston wants to take off to the moon. lol On the dyno our shop never just chopped the throttle closed after a pull… and was told that’s why most rod failures you see are at the top end of the track.
This site sucks.
Stretching is the cause of….
The fastest 1/2 mile Ford Mustang in the world powered by BoostLine rods 🌎Where do we begin…day 3 started out killer, and then it wasn’t. But then it ended amazing!
First run of the day we did a 211.27 mph. It has been confirmed that we now hold the title of FASTEST FORD MUSTANG DRIVEN BY A FEMALE IN THE STANDING 1/2 MILE IN THE WORLD!
Unfortunately a VCT Plug came out during the run spraying oil on the windshield and leaving quite a mess. Pushed the car back to the trailer; checked the data, checked plugs, and deemed it was ok to run again. Fixed it, and watched the timing as we were sitting 2nd in class.
2 other competitors dropped out at the end of qualifying which left only 2 of us to run in the semi finals. We made another run and solidified 1st in class. The VCT plug came out again but we still did a 208.24 mph to win.
We couldn’t have come this far without all of our partners, and the support from all of our friends, family, and customers.
